What We Offer

1 Hour of Ground

Your Discovery Flight includes one hour of personalized ground instruction, divided into two 30-minute sessions — one before your flight and one after.

Before you take off, we’ll get to know your goals and what excites you about aviation so we can tailor the experience to fit your interests. You will also meet one of our experienced Certified Flight Instructors and learn what to expect in the air.

After your flight, we will debrief, answer your questions, and discuss what your next steps could look like if you choose to pursue flight training.

We believe getting started in aviation should be simple and affordable. That’s why our Discovery Flights are offered at a flat rate of $200. You’ll get personalized ground instruction, hands-on flying experience, and time with one of our Certified Flight Instructors — all designed to help you take the first step toward your flight training goals.

Who is Eligible?

Discovery Flights are perfect for anyone thinking about starting flight training — whether you end up training with us or somewhere else, Piston2Jet is honored to be part of your journey!

We offer Discovery Flights to anyone 15 years or older. This way, you can make the most of your experience and be ready to start official training without waiting for FAA age requirements.

Please note: We do not allow passengers on Discovery Flights.

What to Bring

A government-issued photo ID is required.

If you have a logbook, headset, iPad, or other flight gear, feel free to bring them, but they are not required.

Don’t forget your phone or camera if you’d like to capture the experience!
